PediaSure® Peptide is specialized peptide-based nutrition designed for children with malabsortion, maldigestion and other gastrointestinal conditions. As per the manufacturer, can be used: As a supplement or as a sole source of nutrition; For early enteral feeding; As the source of enteral nutrition for dual feeding (parenteral + enteral); For transition from total parenteral nutrition (TPN) to enteral nutrition; For trophic feeding. For oral or tube feeding use.

PREPARATION

• Directions for Use:

  • Store unopened at room temperature.

  • Shake well.

  • After opening, cover, refrigerate and use within 48 hours (24h if consumed directly from the bottle).

  Oral Feeding

  • May be used for total or supplemental nutrition.

  • Tastes best when chilled.

  Tube Feeding

  • Minimal tube size: gravity feeding 10 Fr, enteral feeding pump 8 Fr.

  • Follow health care professional instructions for flow rate, volume and need for additional fluids.

  • Care should be taken to avoid contamination during preparation and administration.
